In answer to being tagged by the lovely shannonfox, here are 5 random things about me, Sandrene.

1. The more I plan for something, the less likely I am to follow through. I believe it is derived from a fear of expectations. So anytime I don’t do something organically, especially if it involves people I don’t know very well, I’m usually terrified.

2. Despite the fact that I travel often, I’ve never left North America and have only been to 34 (soon to be 35) states.

3. As a kid, most things came easy to me, so I never developed a healthy work ethic. When things became too difficult or I hit a roadblock I usually just moved on to something else I enjoyed instead of pressing through until I got better.

4. Today I watched several interviews from the Oprah Winfrey show. This is the first time I’ve seen her show in probably 20 years.

5. I hate wearing open back sandals, especially flip flops. I always scrunch up my toes to keep them from sliding off, which becomes especially uncomfortable after awhile, and it’s difficult for me to keep my feet flat after wearing them for awhile. If I don’t bend my toes, I end up shuffling everywhere.
