I talk so much about passion, and giving people a voice to talk about what they’re passionate about. In discussing this with a friend one day, I realized I’m passionate about passionate people. So, doing something like Show and Talk, that is my passion.

This realization has been further emphasized lately, as I’ve tried to set up meetings with people in preparation to start interviewing again soon. So far I’ve reached out to a handful of people and received a handful of nos. And I’m ok with that. With most things in life, a no would crush me. But these nos fill me with hope. Most of the responses have still been personal, and even though my request is not being honored I know that it was considered, even if just for a moment. Hearing no allows me to be able to look forward to the time when the answer will be yes, and I can look at where I am then and back on where I was and be proud.
